We are NOT sustained exclusively nor even primarily by the ingestion of food but by the Will of the Divine. FOOD IS A SUPPLEMENT to the Word of God. Where our capacity to accept and channel Divine Will through our bodies is lacking, food satisfies the deficit.Read More

From the "Spanda Karikas", a unique and important text of Kashimir Shaivism. "Spanda" is the principle of dynamic Divine Creative Pulsation, somewhat similar to the Yin-Yang of Taoism. Shiva is an eternal process of coming into being and coming to rest and All is an effect of that pulsating flow.Read More
We are all students of the Divine process. From the very beginning we ask "What is This?". Life is the exploration in search of the puzzle pieces that comprise the whole, clear picture. The Guru is anyone or anything that helps us along on the treasure hunt and shows us how to put the fragmented pieces of true vision together.Read More
Christ willingly and lovingly took upon himself all the abuse, hatred and violence of humanity so that he could embody those karmas for all of us. And then through the Divine power, he was able to transmute the accumulated global karma into Love.Read More
Since I started performing the Shiva mantra "Maha Paduka Guru Mantra" in which the feet (paduka) of Shiva rest on the crown chakra, I have been having the experience very, very much like that described below. Shiva showed me the column of light that starts where his paduka touch the the crown and how to allow the column to pass through to the base at muladhara. None of this happens without profound Surrender to the Divine.Read More

If you spent 2016 looking outside of yourself at "The World" in the belief that somehow it ought to conform to your needs, wants, desires and preferences, then you probably don't feel very good about it. And if that's how you roll, chances are excellent that 2017 is going to be experienced as "sucky" too.
The quality of your experience of "The World" that appears to be outside of your self is directly relative to and proportional with the quality of your relationship with The Divine. As that relationship grows and deepens, so does your relationship with the world "out there".
My 2016 was AMAZING and each day was more and more PERFECT than the last. Divine Love in 2017 all day every day! Just Let It Be! Why not? It's your birthright!
From the ages of 13-30 Christ studied and trained with the yoga masters in the land of the Three Wise Men. He learned to fully develop his natural abilities as an Avatar, one born to fully embody The Divine on earth and serve as a Jagadguru, a World Teacher. Celebrate this birth today.Read More
Today’s New Moon marks the main day of India’s epic festival Diwali or Deepavali, known as ‘The Festival of Lights.’ Tonight is a good time to darken all the lights and illuminate your dwelling place with intentional light. Meditate on light emerging from the darkness within. As the reflective lunar light goes dark, Diwali is a time when we can honor our own inner light and let it shine forth into the world.Read More

For a few minutes I was the tallest thing in the continental USA as I stood at the summit of Mount Whitney. I made it to the 12,268 feet level back on June 11 but was prevented from going to the top by a dangerous and vast field of snow and ice. Since then I trained diligently and hiked and summited a series of local mountains in preparation: Mount Islip 8250 feet, Mount Baldy 10,064 feet, San Jacinto Mountain 10,834 feet, San Gorgonio 11,500 feet. Finally on Sunday I saw the spectacular views from the top of Whitney at 14,500 feet, summiting strong and with Shakti flowing.Read More
Across time and cultures, spiritual practitioners have withdrawn for periods of time into the Wilderness to deepen their connection with the Divine. This weekend I spent three full days in the depth of the San Gorgonio Wilderness during which time I briefly encountered only 3 other hikers and 1 park ranger. There was a total absence of human generated light and sounds. Pure silence and only the music of the forest, pure sunlight and moonlight and starlight. It was a perfect opportunity to deepen my Hiking Yoga practice and my connection with Divine Source.Read More
